Technical Cookies are used to “carry out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or visitor to provide such service” (see Article 122, paragraph 1, of the Code). The activities carried out by technical cookies are strictly necessary for the use of the websites that contain them. The installation of these cookies does not require the visitor’s consent, but the site manager is required to provide information pursuant to art. 13 of the Code.
